At AcuWings, earing and keeping our customers trust is very important.  We promised from the
beginning that we will not be charging any additional fees like: fuel surcharge, equipment fees, solo
rental fees and club fees.   We have kept our promise to our customers and this is why we are the
fastest growing flight training school in the area.  

Here are some interesting examples of how other schools charge their students:

Flight school A:
There is a club fee that gives you 3-5% discount. The club fees are very heavy and you have to pay
them on monthly basis.
AcuWings does not  have any monthly dues.

Flight school B:
They claim that if you pay them X dollars per month they give you a 'waiver of subrogation' (i.e. extra
insurance coverage).
AcuWings does not charge extra for waiver of subrogation.

Flight school C:
Here are the extra fees you pay on top of their hourly rate:
- Club fee
- Fuel surcharge
- Solo rental fee (I never heard this one before. If you are flying without an instructor you pay $10/hr
more).
AcuWings does not have any gimmicks like this. We just ask you our hourly rate times the flight
time. PERIOD.

We formed AcuWings for two major reasons : my love of flying and seeing many bad
examples of flight schools. In last 3 years we came a long way, despite local political pressure
that didn't
want flight schools in Renton Airport. Today we are still the friendliest family owned flight
school in Seattle area.
